Sphynx cat clothes
People search for Sphynx cat clothes. I do not put clothes on my cats. Clothes are optional in a home. They are not something I use here.
I am not against them. I just want you to know that a sweater is not what keeps my cats comfortable. The house does that.

The house
I keep my house at 76.
The nursery is 78.
I find 72 too cold.
I find 80 too hot.
Those four numbers are the whole system at my place. There is no clever thermostat schedule behind it.
Warm spots, not warm clothes
I put heated pet beds or blankets in different parts of the home. An electric blanket is fine. I do not sell the bed.
More than one warm spot is the point. I want a cat to have somewhere to go without coming to find me first.
If you asked me where to spend money before a kitten comes home, I would say there. Not on a sweater.
The dryer
I am careful with an open dryer. Cats have died when the door was closed and the dryer was turned on with them inside.
I look before I start a load. That is the whole habit, and it is worth having.
